Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in Telemetry or step-down units highly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and rapid response protocols
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate cardiac telemetry readings, promptly recognizing and acting on any arrhythmias or acute changes in patient status
• Deliver patient-centered care, including medication administration, wound care, and continuous monitoring of vital signs
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to devise and implement effective care plans
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatment regimens, and discharge plans
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and quality assurance
