Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active RN license (KY or compact state)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Telemetry nursing role
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients requiring cardiac telemetry
- Accurately interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and provide ongoing assessments
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Document patient care and progress clearly and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
