Schedule:
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Every other holiday (EOH)
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Telemetry nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry units, identifying changes and responding promptly
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans
- Administer medications, perform interventions, and document accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, treatments, and self-care practices
- Maintain a safe and supportive care environment in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Uphold infection control and quality standards throughout patient care processes
