Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care nursing setting
• Demonstrated critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Skilled in following Standard Precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care, monitoring patient conditions and implementing appropriate care plans in alignment with facility protocols
• Effectively communicate and record vital patient information, sharing updates between healthcare providers as required
• Serve as a primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care, ensuring well-organized collaboration among all team members
• Execute physician and nursing orders promptly and accurately
• Actively participate in discharge planning, advocating for patient needs and liaising with the broader healthcare team to facilitate smooth transitions
• Remain alert to changes in patient status, taking decisive action and escalating concerns as needed
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient privacy regulations
