In this travel role, youll deliver compassionate, coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups, adhering to established standards of care and utilizing the full scope of the nursing process. Youll lead and direct nursing staff across multiple units, ensuring seamless collaboration between disciplines through your expert judgment and critical thinking. The role also provides valuable exposure to float pool operations, offering the chance to enhance your skills and versatility in different clinical environments.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel Assignment; schedule may vary depending on facility needs
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license, in good standing
- Previous experience in Telemetry or similar acute care setting strongly preferred
- Competence in critical thinking, patient assessment, and the nursing process
- Flexibility to float to different units as needed
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Oversee and coordinate activities of assigned nursing personnel
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and interdisciplinary teams
- Uphold established standards of care, protocols, and best clinical practices
- Accurately document care and maintain compliance with facility policies
