What youll bring:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a Telemetry unit
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong telemetry monitoring skills and ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms
- Exceptional communication abilities for patient and family education
- Collaborative mindset for teamwork with physicians and allied health staff
- Proficient documentation skills and experience with electronic medical records
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care for telemetry patients
- Closely monitor cardiac status, interpret rhythms, and implement appropriate interventions
- Document vital signs, assessments, medication administration, and changes in patient status
- Act quickly during emergencies, including responding to codes or rapid response calls
- Support patients and families with empathetic updates and education throughout treatment
- Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times
