Job Description

What youll bring:

  • Current and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a Telemetry unit
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong telemetry monitoring skills and ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms
  • Exceptional communication abilities for patient and family education
  • Collaborative mindset for teamwork with physicians and allied health staff
  • Proficient documentation skills and experience with electronic medical records

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care for telemetry patients
  • Closely monitor cardiac status, interpret rhythms, and implement appropriate interventions
  • Document vital signs, assessments, medication administration, and changes in patient status
  • Act quickly during emergencies, including responding to codes or rapid response calls
  • Support patients and families with empathetic updates and education throughout treatment
  • Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Uphold infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times
