Your expertise in cardiac monitoring and clinical assessment will be essential as you care for individuals with complex health needs. This contract position requires a Registered Nurse with strong leadership abilities to supervise nursing staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide patient care from admission through discharge using sound professional judgment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Experience with telemetry/cardiac monitoring systems
• Minimum one year of recent acute care nursing experience
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff within a fast-paced unit
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position; specific shift hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to telemetry patients
• Oversee and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed nursing team members
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms
• Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) for assigned patients
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide health education and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures
