Schedule/Hours:
- Nights
- Every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with a strong cardiac background
- Proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips
- Ability to perform and manage cardiac drips
- Familiarity with post-cath care, PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR band, and femoral approach
Responsibilities:
- Care for patients in a medical cardiology unit
- Interpret telemetry strips and monitor for arrhythmias
- Manage cardiac drips according to protocols
- Provide post-procedure care, including PCI, ablation, ICD, and pacemaker follow-ups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain patient safety with RN:patient ratios of 1:5 (days) and 1:6 (nights)
