This travel opportunity provides exposure to a 24-bed medical cardiology unit, where expanding your clinical expertise is at the forefront. Youll collaborate with seasoned healthcare providers, learn new approaches to cardiac care, and enhance your leadership abilities by working within diverse teams. Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights
  • Every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RN license
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience with a strong cardiac background
  • Proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips
  • Ability to perform and manage cardiac drips
  • Familiarity with post-cath care, PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR band, and femoral approach

Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients in a medical cardiology unit
  • Interpret telemetry strips and monitor for arrhythmias
  • Manage cardiac drips according to protocols
  • Provide post-procedure care, including PCI, ablation, ICD, and pacemaker follow-ups
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain patient safety with RN:patient ratios of 1:5 (days) and 1:6 (nights)
