A Registered Nurse with expertise in LTAC/Telemetry care is needed to provide expert nursing services in a dynamic hospital environment. This travel nursing position requires clinical proficiency, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with the Nursing Process and regulatory standards.
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to LTAC and telemetry patients following established protocols and state regulations.
- Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate patient needs and plan care effectively.
- Lead and delegate tasks to healthcare team members based on their experience and education.
- Maintain clinical skills through ongoing education and professional development.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel to guarantee quality patient care.
- Adhere strictly to facility policies and the Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Two to five years of nursing experience, with strong vent/trach care skills.
- Prior experience in LTAC or telemetry settings preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Requirements:
