Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care for individual patients or a group of patients in adherence to established standards and nursing best practices
  • Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor patients on telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient status
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of assigned nursing staff and support personnel
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and safe patient care experience
  • Exercise professional judgment and critical thinking when addressing complex or emergent clinical scenarios
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold rigorous standards for patient privacy and care quality

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Strong background in Telemetry or step-down care, with proven knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring nursing staff, with the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and respond decisively in fast-paced environments
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
