Job Description

A healthcare facility in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry to provide exceptional patient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting patients with cardiac and other telemetry monitoring needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
  • Assess and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient information and care accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and families regarding health status and discharge instructions

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
  • Experience in Telemetry nursing preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to operate telemetry monitoring systems and interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained upon hire
