Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret electrocardiograms, recognizing changes in cardiac rhythms and patient status
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop, update, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and after-care
• Document patient care activities and vital signs accurately in electronic health records
• Respond swiftly to changes in cardiac rhythms and potential emergencies in accordance with hospital protocols

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum one year of acute care Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Exemplary communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
