As an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry, youll play a pivotal role in supporting patients with advanced cardiac monitoring needs. Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and new technology
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients requiring continuous cardiac care
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform treatments per physician orders
- Interpret telemetry readings and promptly respond to changes in patient status
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families about treatments, recovery, and health maintenance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care
