This role will place you on the 2 West unit with a dedicated team providing compassionate care in a supportive environment. Engage with a staff who prioritize collaboration and a patient-centered approach, while broadening your own clinical skillset in acute med/surg and telemetry care. Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating weekends, as required for travel RNs
Desired Experience & Certifications:
- Active RN license
- 1+ years acute med/surg experience in the last year (required)
- Capability to care for 46 patients at once
- 2+ years acute med/surg in the last year preferred; Med/Surg, Telemetry, Ortho, or Neuro-Surgery experience highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Perform standard nursing procedures (IV and urinary catheter insertion, central line maintenance, medication administration)
- Maintain clear communication with the interdisciplinary team
- Document thoroughly in Meditech EMR
- Float to Med/Surg units as needed
