Working in this well-respected hospital setting, youll become part of a robust nursing team in a 22-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit. Schedule/Hours
- Travel position
- Rotating weekends
- Shifts with a team-oriented structure (Day: 1 charge RN, 5 RNs, 2 PCAs, night variations)
Qualifications
- RN license with required certifications
- Minimum 2 years acute med/surg experience within the past year
- Comfortable managing 46 patients at a time
- Strongly preferred: 2+ years orthopedic nursing experience
- Proficient with IV insertions, urinary catheters, central lines, medication administration, and EHR documentation
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to med/surg and ortho patients
- Execute standard nursing procedures with diligence and accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain meticulous records in Meditech EMR
- Float to med/surg units as needed
