This opportunity is based on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit, well-known for its collaborative team and advanced cardiac care. Nurses with a passion for telemetry, strong cardiac backgrounds, and a drive to grow in a fast-paced setting will thrive here. Gain hands-on experience with advanced procedures and a variety of patient cases, further enhancing your clinical skills and resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Nights & every other weekend (EOW)
- 36 hours per week
Role Highlights:
- Engage with cutting-edge cardiac and telemetry patients
- Interpret telemetry strips; perform and manage cardiac drips
- Provide care for post-cath PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation procedures
- Utilize TR Band and femoral approach methods
- Deliver comprehensive patient care with RN to patient ratios of 1:5 (days), 1:6 (nights)
- Collaborate with experienced cardiac clinicians
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with a solid cardiac background
- Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips and performing cardiac drips
- Familiarity with post-cath, PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation procedures
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
