Schedule & Hours:
- 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
- DAY shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call obligations
- Full time
Working with cardiac and telemetry patients, youll navigate a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1-6:1, collaborating with a skilled team in a supportive atmosphere. This assignment is ideal for registered nurses eager to strengthen their professional portfolio, learn innovative care delivery models, and consider temp-to-perm potential for greater job security.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state of employment or compact)
- BLS & ACLS certification from AHA required
- Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
- At least 1 year RN experience in a related specialty preferred
- Enthusiastic about adapting to new settings and best practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, individualized care through the nursing processassess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Manage a wide range of patient needs, focusing on cardiac and telemetry care
- Teach, mentor, and guide patients, families, and newer staff, using the latest protocols and education tools
- Accurately document all care, charting patient histories, medication administration, and interventions
- Participate in ongoing skills development, orientation, and annual competency requirements
