Schedule/Hours:
- 7AM 7PM
- Full time
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in state of employment or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (current)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver holistic nursing care utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide both routine and advanced care for patients in cardiac and telemetry (not Stepdown)
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
- Address complex psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families
- Document all patient care, history, and medication administration accurately
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers; identify resources as needed
- Participate in and complete all required orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education
