As a Travel RN skilled in Telemetry, youll work in a dynamic unit caring for cardiac and telemetry patients. This experience will help you master both routine and complex cases, collaborate with diverse healthcare teams, and gain insight into new leadership approaches. Schedule Details:
- Shift: 7PM 7AM (Nights)
- Work Type: Full Time
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- No On Call
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry or related nursing specialty preferred
- Commitment to complete New Nurse Orientation and annual competency verification
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients (non-Stepdown)
- Utilize the nursing process for assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
- Participate in ongoing training, orientation, and skill assessment programs
- Manage assignments and delegate appropriately to care team members
