Schedule:
- Full Time
- 7AM 7PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or related nursing specialty (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- EPIC experience required
- Experience caring for cardiac and telemetry patients
Required Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN license in state of employment or compact
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification from AHA
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage nursing care for cardiac and telemetry patients, following ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
- Assess, plan, and evaluate care, adapting to complex patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for efficacy and side effects
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and ongoing care
- Accurately document histories, symptoms, and care provided
- Collaborate with care teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure compliance with organizational protocols
