Schedule:
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday per contract
Role Overview: Youll work in a dynamic Med Surg Float Pool, rotating between all Medical Surgical Telemetry units as needed. Flexibility to handle variable assignments and float to other units in response to staffing requirements is essential. This 16-week contract also requires residents to live more than 50 miles from the facility.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year recent acute Med Surg/Tele clinical experience
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Preferred: 2 years recent acute Med Surg/Tele experience
- Active New York RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- EPIC documentation proficiency preferred
- Flexibility to accommodate facility scheduling needs

- Provide expert patient care across various Med Surg Tele units

- Float between units based on operational demands
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing interventions
- Document care accurately using EPIC
