Exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse specializing in Telemetry to provide compassionate, high-quality care on a dynamic 37-bed Med/Tele Complex Care unit. This 16-week contract offers challenging and rewarding work in a busy acute care environment, supporting a range of patient needs and collaborating with skilled healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 12 hours: 7PM7AM
- Options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- At least 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekends every other week
- Must be available to work at least 1 holiday during the assignment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New York State
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an acute Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- For non-U.S. candidates, at least 2 years of applicable U.S. nursing experience
- Preferred: 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular and medical-surgical care in a telemetry unit
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation
- Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs
- Participate in charge nurse duties (training provided if needed)
- Respond with flexibility to scheduling demands; block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
