As an RN specializing in Telemetry, you'll step into a dynamic clinical environment focused on caring for cardiac and telemetry patients. Schedule/Hours
- Full-time, nights: 7PM - 7AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- One year of experience in telemetry or a related nursing specialty
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA required
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact
- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend orientation and complete competency validation within 30 days
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care using the nursing process for cardiac and telemetry patients
- Administer and monitor medications/treatments and document patient responses
- Educate patients and families on care plans and address their psychological, emotional, and cultural needs
- Delegate tasks to team members and help ensure optimal nurse/patient ratios (5:1-6:1)
- Stay current through annual competency verification and ongoing training programs
