Youll play a crucial role on a dedicated team, ensuring responsive, compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift: 7am 7pm
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing preferred
• Ability to practice independently with keen awareness of complex patient needs
• Commitment to ongoing competency and professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Monitor cardiac and telemetry patients, administer treatments and medications, and track patient response
• Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, interventions, and progress
• Provide patient and family education, address their emotional and cultural needs, and facilitate resources as appropriate
• Assign and delegate tasks to support optimal patient outcomes while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Participate in organizational orientation, annual competency verification, and specialty-specific skill validation

Additional Information:

• Nurse/patient ratio ranges from 5:1 to 6:1, depending on staffing
• Possibility for long-term or permanent placement following the initial assignment
• Supportive onboarding and skill validation, including preceptorship and ongoing education
