This travel nursing assignment is on a 36-bed Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) / Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit, providing invaluable experience with a highly skilled team. Take your professional development to the next level by mastering EPIC charting software, broadening your clinical skillset, and adapting to a range of patient complexities that will make your resume stand out.
Schedule:
- NIGHTS 12-hour shifts (7 PM7 AM)
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday during your contract
- 16-week assignment
- Flexibility required in response to facility needs
Qualifications:
- Current NY State RN license in good standing
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute med surg/telemetry nursing experience
- For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of relevant U.S. work experience required
- Preferred: 2 years of recent acute med surg/telemetry experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EHR preferred
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to elderly and alternate level of care patients
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient conditions, and administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate care plans effectively
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation
