This assignment will introduce you to advanced cardiac telemetry care practices, offering exposure to diverse workplace methodologies and patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- Night shifts
- Must be available to work Memorial Day and July 4th holidays/weekends
- Weekend and call coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Missouri
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years RN-Tele or equivalent experience
- Adaptability and willingness to float as needed within your competencies
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working with EMREPIC preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to cardiac telemetry patients
- Monitor, document, and report EKG and vital sign changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on condition and next steps
- Flexibly assist other units according to float requirements
