This contract role requires expertise as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry-focused acute care unit serving an affluent community with concierge-level expectations. The unit features 24 beds and operates with a 6-7:1 patient ratio, using Cerner for documentation and standard Med/Surg equipment.

Schedule:

• VARIABLE SHIFTS
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification (ACLS, CPI preferred)
• Demonstrated experience caring for geriatric or inpatient rehab (Swing Bed) patients
• Advanced skills in wound care
• Comfortable working with minor procedures
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Professional demeanor suitable for a high-standard, patient-centered environment

Role Expectations:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients with acute and post-acute needs, with a focus on the geriatric population
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, ensuring timely response to patient needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to promote seamless patient care, despite limited support staff (no HUC or tech when techs are not available)
• Uphold rigorous documentation and adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies
• Maintain the highest standards in bedside manner, consistent with concierge expectations
• Adapt to rare floating requirements as needed within the facility
