Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Prior experience in Telemetry or acute care nursing preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Skilled at delegating tasks and mentoring staff
• Commitment to upholding evidence-based practice standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough patient assessments and reassessments as needed, intervening based on clinical findings
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized patient care plans in close collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical treatments and adjust care as clinically indicated
• Educate patients and families on care needs, procedures, and discharge instructions to promote understanding and involvement
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and provide mentorship and guidance
• Actively participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives in alignment with current best practices
• Advocate for patient safety and satisfaction, adhering to regulatory and hospital standards
