An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care on a med-surg telemetry unit. This contract position offers a chance to work within a supportive team focused on moderate-acuity patients including vascular and bariatric cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a 47-bed med-surg telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs using equipment such as Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and Atrium chest tube drainage systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including charge nurses, LNAs, and monitor techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Sunrise).
• Support moderate to high-acuity patients, including those with cardiac and bariatric needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Proven experience in telemetry nursing essential for consideration.
• Preferred experience includes bariatric and cardiac patient care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team with a hardworking and dependable attitude.

Schedule

• Day shifts typically serve a patient ratio of 1:4-5; night shifts 1:5.
• Weekend availability required every other weekend.
• Scrubs dress code with no assigned color.
