Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 12 years recent telemetry experience
- Proven proficiency with cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer and manage intravenous cardiac medications
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
- Document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record system
