Take your nursing expertise to a high-acuity Telemetry unit, providing exceptional care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow. Full-time night shifts (7PM 7AM) are available, with immediate starts for Registered Nurses ready to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7PM 7AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations
• Floating to related units required as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are mandatory
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• One year of experience in a telemetry or related nursing specialty preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and complex care to patients, practicing in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards and unit protocols
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, managing both routine and emergent clinical situations independently or in partnership with fellow team members
• Monitor and administer cardiac drips (excluding nitrates), document patient data, and manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 (occasionally 6:1)
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, providing education and resources as necessary
• Participate in competency verification and attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
• Act as a resource for delegation and support the development of newer staff
