A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience, supporting patients at a long-term acute care setting in Marietta, GA. This contract position offers the chance to care for medically complex individuals requiring specialized monitoring and nursing interventions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with Telemetry certification required
- ACLS certification is mandatory
- Experience with ventilator management and IV starts highly preferred
- Current GA or compact LPN license valid within a 50-mile radius; local candidates only (no travelers)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills in an acute care environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with complex, long-term medical needs
- Monitor telemetry and manage ventilators as needed to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments in accordance with care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and protocols
