Make a meaningful difference caring for patients on a Telemetry unit with this rewarding Registered Nurse contract opportunity. Deliver specialized monitoring and acute care for individuals experiencing cardiac or other critical conditions within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment and protocols
- Exceptional critical-thinking and organizational abilities
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high-acuity situations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients on telemetry for changes in cardiac and vital signs
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond rapidly to cardiac events or changes in condition
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac care and recovery
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and all regulatory compliance standards
