Provide high-level care and clinical expertise in a dynamic telemetry nursing unit. This contract opportunity is focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and managing a team of skilled healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards of care.
• Monitor patients cardiac rhythms, recognize and respond to changes, and implement appropriate interventions as needed.
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, offering leadership and ensuring effective collaboration.
• Communicate and coordinate care with healthcare team members, including physicians, allied health staff, and ancillary personnel.
• Foster a safe environment, demonstrate clinical judgment, and prioritize patient needs using critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Participate in patient and family education to support recovery and promote ongoing health.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Previous experience in a telemetry nursing setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac monitoring and interpretation.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and direct staff at various levels.
