Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Minimum of one years recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and responding to arrhythmias
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and standard telemetry equipment

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours, arranged as three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as patient needs require

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, including baseline assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Interpret and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, and cardiac health management
  • Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR system
  • Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the stay
