Job Description
Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic clinical setting located in La Luz, NM. This contract opportunity requires a skilled Registered Nurse with telemonitoring experience to deliver both routine and complex patient care independently. You will play a critical role in managing clinical situations by making sound decisions, delegating tasks appropriately, and supporting long-term patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care consistent with ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols; monitor patient responses and side effects.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess patient and caregiver learning needs, providing education and identifying resources to support recovery and well-being.
- Uphold OneCHRISTUS Competencies by demonstrating leadership and accountability in your role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- Active RN license in New Mexico or through the Compact Nursing License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Work Schedule:
- Full Time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
