As a travel RN with Telemetry experience, youll work three 12-hour night shifts each week, deepening your clinical skills in a dynamic setting renowned for its cardiac care. Exposure to a variety of acute care units and state-of-the-art medical technology like EPIC ensures continuous professional development. Youll collaborate with an experienced team, refine your cardiac monitoring skills, learn new medication protocols, and gain insight into different leadership stylesexpanding your rsum and enriching your nursing practice. When off the clock, Kansas Citys museums, parks, and famous barbecue await.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 pm 7:30 am, three shifts per week
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- No on-call duties; holiday coverage as needed (Memorial Day, July 4th)
- Orientation schedule includes a combination of in-person and virtual training
Qualifications:
- Active KS RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience
- Experience with TR Band post-procedure care, cardiac drips, and medication initiation (Tikosyn/Sotalol)
- Preferred: 2-5 years in Telemetry
- Comfortable floating to all acute care units
- Not open to new graduates

- Provide Telemetry monitoring and cardiac care for a diverse patient population
- Administer cardiac drips and manage medication titration safely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
- Float to various acute care units as needed
