This Telemetry RN travel position offers exposure to a variety of clinical environments as part of a flexible float pool. Youll have the chance to broaden your practice by collaborating with diverse teams and skilled healthcare leadersan invaluable step for professional growth. Expanding your resume in this high-acuity setting will position you strongly for future leadership or specialty roles as you master new workplace practices and technologies.
Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour day shifts: 06:4519:15
- Every other weekend required
- Some holiday coverage required
- No on-call responsibilities
Experience & Qualification Requirements
- Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum: MS/Telemetry experience (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin)
- Preferred: Step-Down/Progressive Care (Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, etc.) and ICU experience
- TNCC required only for ICU-qualified candidates
- Strong documentation skills (Altera Sunrise EMR); EMR experience not required
- No new graduates accepted
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert patient care in telemetry and potentially step-down or ICU settings
- Float to various units based on skills and facility needs
- Administer and titrate critical medications as appropriate
- Monitor complex cardiac and hemodynamic statuses
- Participate in a thorough multi-day orientation process to ensure seamless onboarding
