Advance your clinical career in a dynamic Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry setting, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care through every shift. As a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry, you will utilize your expertise and sound nursing judgment to deliver excellent care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and established hospital protocols. Your leadership and critical-thinking skills will be integral to anticipating patient needs and ensuring safe, effective outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position
- Shifts and hours will be discussed during the interview process
Key Qualifications:
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license (must be submitted with your resume)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (must be submitted with your application)
- Two to five years of nursing experience, preferably in LTAC or telemetry environments
- Proficient in utilizing the full nursing process for patient assessments, plan-of-care development, and delivery
- Strong communication, delegation, and team supervision abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Recent experience in a contract or permanent position within similar settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care for telemetry patients, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and adherence to standard procedures
- Supervise and support assigned personnel, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
- Align care priorities based on patient condition, staff availability, and relevant clinical guidelines
