Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Shift: Rotating
- Hours: 36 per week
- Assignment start: 05/11, 16-week duration
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license with 2+ years as a staff RN in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Step-down
- Previous experience in orthopedic/post-op telemetry is required
- Prior experience in a float pool is highly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and AHA or APEX NIHSS
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality post-operative care to orthopedic telemetry patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patients cardiac status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
- Utilize EPIC for accurate, timely charting
- Adapt to different units as part of the float pool as necessary
