An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Telemetry nursing for a contract position. The role centers on providing top-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring safety within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Recent experience in Telemetry nursing, with strong cardiac monitoring skills
- Proven ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly notifying providers of changes
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver optimal care
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and health management
- Respond quickly to emergent situations using clinical judgment and established guidelines
- Support a safe, respectful environment in compliance with healthcare standards
