Schedule:
- 7AM 7PM
- Enjoy a balanced day shift role on a busy unit
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Previous experience in telemetry or intermediate care settings strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and a positive, engaged attitude
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR is advantageous
Experience with the following is highly valued:
- Central line care and medication drips
- Recovery for heart catheterization patients
- Bubble studies
- Operation of PCA and IV pumps, chest tubes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to a 37-bed telemetry unit
- Manage patient ratios of 1:6 and 1:4 for heart cath cases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, patient care techs, and unit clerks
- Monitor and quickly respond to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
