Step into a vital role providing patient care in a Telemetry unit as a skilled Registered Nurse. This contract position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in monitoring cardiac and telemetry patients, ensuring timely and effective interventions in a dynamic acute care environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in Telemetry nursing
- Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
- Exceptional assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Adaptability and composure in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
Responsibilities:
- Continuously assess and monitor cardiac patients, recognizing emergent conditions promptly
- Implement individualized care plans based on patient status and physician orders
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, medications, and responses
- Operate and troubleshoot telemetry equipment
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding care processes and recovery expectations
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and quality standards
