Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute your expertise in a fast-paced progressive environment. This opportunity seeks a skilled RN with Telemetry experience to support patients requiring cardiac monitoring and specialized observation during their hospital stay.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and prompt response to cardiac events
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptability to dynamic clinical settings and patient acuity changes
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac rhythms for assigned patients, promptly identifying and escalating abnormalities
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessment, medication administration, reassessment, and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to implement effective care plans
- Thoroughly document interventions, observations, and clinical changes in EMR
- Prioritize patient safety and implement critical thinking during emergencies
- Support patients and families, offering explanations and comfort as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and national standards for infection control and patient care
