Provide expert care as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in a dynamic long-term acute care (LTAC) setting. This travel opportunity offers professional growth while delivering high-quality nursing care for patients requiring complex monitoring and ventilator support. The role involves using the Nursing Process aligned with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies to ensure safe, effective outcomes through critical thinking, leadership, and delegation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply clinical judgment and nursing skills to manage telemetry patient care.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff during shifts to prioritize and deliver care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care for medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached for consideration).
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of nursing experience, including telemetry and vent/trach care.
- Strong critical thinking and leadership abilities.
- Prior experience in LTAC or similar settings preferred.
