This 16-week travel position is designed for RNs eager to expand their expertise and resume, gaining hands-on experience with diverse patient populations and innovative healthcare leadership. Experience firsthand the benefits of adapting to new systems like EPIC charting and discover the professional growth that comes with floating across units and stepping into the charge nurse roleHighland will provide training if needed.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am 7:00 pm)
- 36 or 48 hours weekly available
- Must work 1 weekend shift weekly or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least 1 holiday shift during your contract
- No block scheduling; flexibility required to meet facility needs
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent acute med/surg telemetry experience required
- For non-U.S. candidates: minimum 2 years of recent U.S. clinical experience
- Preferred: 2+ years recent acute med/surg telemetry experience
- Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification required
- Previous charge experience highly valued, but all motivated nurses willing to train are encouraged
- Must reside over 50 miles from facility
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-quality care for complex med/surg tele patients
- Float between units as needed, supporting staffing needs
- Serve as charge nurse when scheduled (training provided)
- Adapt readily to facilitys changing needs and schedule
