Schedule & Hours
- Rotating shifts (ROT)
- 36 hours per week
- 16-week assignment starting 05/11
As a Telemetry RN specializing in Orthopedics, you'll benefit from exposure to advanced patient care standards and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a progressive hospital setting. Key Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- At least 2 years of recent staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown
- Orthopedic/post-op nursing experience required
- Prior Float Pool background highly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is a must
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, AHA or APEX NIHSS
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to post-op and orthopedic patients in a telemetry unit
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide patient education and emotional support for individuals and their families
- Ensure accurate and timely charting in EPIC EMR
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit, including floating as necessary
