Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment and telemetry interpretation
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms and vital signs, promptly recognizing changes or arrhythmias
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and manage IVs according to physician orders and established protocols
• Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform interventions within scope of practice
• Maintain a safe and clean environment consistent with infection control and safety standards
