Job Description
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise in cardiac monitoring and acute patient management in a supportive clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Telemetry or a similar acute care setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment and telemetry interpretation
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms and vital signs, promptly recognizing changes or arrhythmias
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and manage IVs according to physician orders and established protocols
- Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform interventions within scope of practice
- Maintain a safe and clean environment consistent with infection control and safety standards
