Schedule:
- Day shifts (7A-7P)
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibility
What Youll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1-6:1)
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness and possible side-effects
- Provide patient and family education while addressing psychological, cultural, and emotional needs
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, delegate, and assign responsibilities as appropriate
What Were Looking For:
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- Active RN license in state of employment or compact
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least one year of nursing experience in a related specialty preferred
- Readiness to complete New Nurses Orientation, preceptorship, and annual competencies as required
