Schedule:
- 7AM 7PM
- Every other weekend requirement
- No on-call shifts
What We Need:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- At least one year of experience in telemetry, cardiac, or related nursing specialty preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Committed to ongoing competency and process improvement
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care according to the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Manage routine and complex care needs for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit)
- Collaborate and delegate care as appropriate to ensure optimum patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families, adapting to complex physical, psychological, and cultural needs
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the achievement of clinical and organizational goals
